At 5:30am Friday, 7/31, Javier Restrepo passed away surrounded by his loving family. Thank

At the close of the 2008 Sooner Volleyball season, Coach Restrepo and his family faced a
serious challenge. His youngest son, Javier (Javi) continued his fight against leukemia, and in October he underwent a
bone marrow transplant. His big brother, Diegeo, was his donor. In January he also had a liver transplant.
